On March 29, 2008, we held our Opening Day Parade and Ceremony.  During our ceremony, we celebrated the life of a 4 year old child from our community, Tyler Richard Cardis, who lost a courageous battle for his life this past year.  A foundation has been started in his name to help keep his memory alive.  The Foundation will award a scholarship to a deserving Gloucester Township student annually.  

In 2008, we raised over $1500 for the Foundation from donations throughout the season. We plan on supporting this Foundation in 2009 also.  A banner is hanging on the backstop advertising how to make contributions to the Foundation.
